ABOUT HEFF

 
The Houston Estate and Financial Form (HEFF) was organized on June 27, 1960, for the purpose of assisting the development and extension of professional skills in the field of estate planning and to foster cooperation among its members. HEFF was incorporated September 1, 1979.
 
Since its founding, HEFF has emphasized programs of educational interest for its members in recognition that such programs are the best means with which to assist its members in the development and extension of their skills in the field of estate planning.
 
HEFF's membership is comprised of individuals actively involved in the following professions: Certified Public Accountants (CPA), Attorneys, Trust Officers, Chartered Life Underwriters (CLU), Certified Financial PlannersTM (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultants (ChFC), Accredited Senior Appraisers (ASA), Accredited Estate Planners (AEP)  and development Officers of organizations exempt from federal income taxation under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 as amended.
